World Book Day Celebrations - Our Big Book Off

Our Big Book Off is based around the action words CREATE, IMAGINE, EXPLORE, DISCOVER, EXPERIENCE. The main aim of the Book Off is to encourage reading for pleasure and provide opportunities for the children to engage in activities that celebrate their favourite books, genres, authors and illustrators. The From Reception to Key Stage 2 the children participated in a variety of activities encompassing all the areas of the Book Off.

In Reception and Foundation Stage the children enjoyed the teachers reading aloud as part of their EXPERIENCE. They dressed up in their PJ's and listened to some old favourites and some new stories.

When the Library van came we DISCOVERED a new place to find books.
