Victorian Toys @ Ranfurly House

Mrs Armstrong and Mrs McKiernan's classes visited the Ranfurly House in Dungannon to explore Victorian Toys as part of their theme in The World Around Us. The children played with toys that were more than 100 years old, they talked about the materials the toys were made from and compared them to toys they play with today. It was a thoroughly enjoyable, engaging and informative play session. 

The children were also treated to a screening of Julia Donaldson's "Room and the Broom" and "The Stickman" as part of the INTO Film Festival at Ranfurly House.
