Understanding time duration in seconds

WALT understand time duration in seconds.  We each counted in seconds.  We used a stopwatch to see who counted most accurately to 20 seconds.  Keela was the most accurate girl and measured 20 seconds in 20.68 seconds.  Jake was the most accurate boy and the most accurate in the class and measured 20 seconds in 20.14 seconds.  We were all very accurate and understand seconds as a measure of time.

We recorded the number of skips or solos we each could do in 20 seconds.  We were then able to calculate how many solos or skips we could do per minute/hour.  We enjoyed timing each other and the boys were very competitive!!!!
