The long awaited trip to Lisdoonvarna
On Tuesday 26th April, Primary 7 pupils accompanied by Master McGinn, Mrs Carberry and our musician, Eamon left Sacred Heart to commence the long journey to Lisdoonvarna. They first went to Armagh to pick up their friends from St. Joseph's Madden and the Primary 7 class from St. Mary's Pomeroy also joined them on the trip. On route the pupils stopped at Croke Park before heading for the Burren Castle Hotel. As part of their trip to Lisdoonvarna, Primary 7 pupils had the opportunity to visit the Ailwee Caves and Cliffs of Moher. After an action packed morning visiting the Ailwee Caves and Cliffs of Moher, Primary 7 pupils made the short journey to Lahinch where they walked on the beach, visited the swimming pool and played in the park. Friday morning the suitcases were packed early and after another delicious breakfast they were homeward bound. A trip that lasted 4 days in Primary 7 will live forever with each and every one of them.
Memories and friends made!!!
