Mrs McKiernan, World Around Us Co-Ordinator set us a challenge to design, plan and construct an arctic shelter.

From our topic 'Animals in their Habitat' we knew that the Arctic was very cold and a shelter would need to protect from the snow, ice and cold. We investigated ways in which we could construct shelters before designing, planning and making them.

We used many different materials and enjoyed the project. Take a look at our constructions below.
