P2/3 Exploring with maps

Primary 2/3 are excited to start their new World Around Us topic all about 'Birds'. We are interested to find out about birds who migrate.

We were keen to explore the paths of Brent geese who travel from Canada to Ireland.

We used atlases to find where they travel to and from. We located the two countries on our own individual maps of the world. We are looking forward to lots more interesting experiences linked to our new topic. So watch this space!
