P2/3 pupils have really enjoyed learning about birds. We took part in the Big Schools' Birdwatching Challenge and were delighted to submit our findings.
We have learned about the life-cycle of penguins and robins. We have written our own factual reports. We have made bird feeders and created fabulous art linked to journey of migrating swallows.
We have researched how the dodo 🦤 bird became extinct. Mr Kelly led a dodo based yoga session and we thoroughly relaxed. We also learned some extra relaxation and gratitude skills which linked into Children's Mental Health Week.
