P1 celebrate Science Day 2023

To celebrate Science Day 2023 the Primary One class learned about the Bangor born scientist William Reid Clanny. He invented safety lamps for coal miners in the 18th century. The children sorted colours into light and dark. They dressed Barnaby Bear in bright colours to keep him safe at night. The children visited the Sensory Space to explore glow in the dark material and the effects of UV light.
