Our Week in School

This week we focussed on developing our fine motor skills through a wide range of activities. We made patterns in the sand, learned how to use the mouse on the computer, made patterns using beads, used scissor scoopers and tweezers, painted pictures of our families and made pancakes, balls and sausages with the play dough. We took advantage of the stormy day for some in the moment planning and painted stormy pictures as the storm blew hard outside the classroom. We also listened to the story of The Gingerbread Man, some stormy music, and moved our bodies in time to the music, exploring spiky body shapes when we heard the lightening strike.
