Measurement

Today Primary 7 took part in some practical learning.

First of all they had to estimate the length of our school yard, the canteen and their classroom. They also had to estimate the width of all these places to.

After their estimation the boys and girls had to take a true measurement of these areas using a trundle wheel.

After their metric measurements were taking, they then had to change these measurements into centimetres, from here they had to change these measurements into imperial measurements.  

Primary 7 enjoyed working in groups for this task and performed very well with one another.

A big well done to them for correctly changing metric measurements to imperial!
