Irish Classes and Fireman Visit

Primary Five have been taking part in Irish Classes.  Every Thursday the pupils have the opportunity to learn different words in Irish.  They have been learning the colours and the counties in Ireland.  The pupils have enjoyed learning Irish through fun activities. 

This week the P5 pupils had a visit from the Fireman.  He talked to the pupils about safety within the home.  The pupils learned about fire escape plans and they had to make a fire escape plan for their own homes. They were learning about how difficult it might be to escape from a house fire if they didn't have a fire escape plan.
