Internet Safety Workshop

Today Primary 6 and 7 classes took part in an Internet Safety Workshop led by REIM Training Solutions.  The workshop focused on the positive and negative sides of Internet usage.  It dealt with 'Stranger Danger' and 'How to stay safe online.'  The workshop included small group activities, discussions and a short video clip on 'Stranger Danger.'  The message  the pupils took from these activities are that they should STOP; BLOCK and TELL when they encounter someone or something negative online.  The pupils were made aware of how it is important to have a trusted adult they can speak to.
