Forest School Week One

What a fantastic start to our Forest School adventure facilitated by #SOFTPROJECT.

Today we were introduced to our forest class in Parkanaur. After we listened to the rules of the Forest School, ate our break and drank so yummy hot chocolate, we learned about the forest floor and all the things we could find there.

We looked for different materials on the forest floor, sharp, spiky, smooth, bright, large, small, leaves, sticks and anything we thought was interesting. We brought our findings together and created a piece of forest art.

Then we explored hut building, mobile making, and anything we wanted to within our forest class. We found some bugs, frogs and lots and lots of wood.

As we were interested in the bugs we found, we have decided to investigate more insects in the forest next week, we are looking forward to using magnifying glasses and other equipment to view the bugs.

We cannot wait for our next adventure!
