Dear Parents,
As we approach Easter week, we want to thank you for all the fantastic work you are doing with the children in such challenging times. As a staff we really appreciate receiving emails from you asking for support. We are missing the daily, personal connection with the children and therefore your emails give us encouragement and I would ask that you keep in contact with us even to let us know how the children are doing!
Normally during Holy Week in school, each class would spend time thinking about Jesus and the difficult journey he had and as a staff we realise that a lot of families in our country and throughout the world are suffering at present as Jesus did. To support the children in thinking about Jesus and the meaning of Holy Week the ‘Home Learning Page’ on the website has gone live today and this can be accessed with the password you received in the text. In each individual class page the teachers have also written a personal message to the children.
We realise that not every child will be at the same stage with their work but when we do finally get back to the normal schooling, we will all work together to get caught up.
Finally I just want to say that the Health and Wellbeing of you and your families is more important than anything at present and to all the Keyworkers, as a school community and country we are truly indebted to you. Please stay safe and a Happy Easter to all our families.
