Animals in their Habitats

As part of their World Around Us theme, animals in their habitats, the P3/4 class had a mini beast hunt in their school environment.  They searched under leaves and stones, in hedges and in the mini beast hotel.  After collecting a sample of mini beasts the class then investigated them finding which mini beast they had found using microscopes and a mini beast key.  The pupils then shared their learning with each other by creating a class display for each child to browse.
