Miss Eileen Jones & Mr Barry Tally
Eileen is a teacher in Sacred Heart PS and is accompanied by the talented musician Barry. Eileen is a dedicated teacher and keen sports lady. Eileen is a talented Irish Dancer and her experience is shining through during rehearsals. Barry is a prospective parent of kids to attend Sacred Heart PS and parent of footballer Eoin who will miss his Dad's claim to fame as he will have travelled to the All Ireland Feile with our successful U14 team!!!!!!!
Mrs Ursula Daly & Mr Aidan McGarrity
Ursula is a teacher in Sacred Heart PS and is accompanied by the talented football star who has represented Tyrone and stars on the forward line for Rock St. Patricks. Ursula is a dedicated teacher and past pupil of our school. Ursula is also a parent of kids in the school and underage players for Rock St Patricks. Her fan base will be supporting her from Co. Mayo as Feile has taken priority in the Daly house!!!! Aidan is a past pupil of our school and has also completed his teaching practice in the school as part of his studies at St. Mary's Teacher Training College. Aidan's successful football career began in P7 when he had the honour of lifting an All-Ireland medal. His success has continued with the club. Aidan is also one of the dedicated coaches of the U14 team but his priority for the 27th of June is his new love for Irish dancing!
Miss Aislinn Carroll & Mr Gerald Lagan
Aislinn has just completed 4 years at St. Mary's Teacher Training College. Aislinn is also a past pupil of our school. Aislinn is a keen footballer and is dedicated to the youth teams of Rock Ladies and a Committee Member of Rock St. Patricks. Gerald is a past pupil of our school and Reserve player for Rock St. Patricks. Gerald's cousin is an All-Ireland champion so we are expecting an array of talent! Gerald's mum, Briege is also a valued member of our staff.
Mrs Sheila Ward & Mr Conor Harte
Sheila is a native of Galbally but a committed Rock lady for many years. Sheila is a parent of 7 past pupils, 1 girl and 6 boys. Sheila is a keen dancer and wife of Rock St. Patricks Chairman John. Conor is a Kildress man at heart but recently married Grainne, a Rock lady. He is now a valued part of the Rock community. Sheila and Conor are dedicated dancers putting in many hours of practice.
Miss Alicia Hoy & Mr Aidan McDonald
Aidan is a past pupil of our school. He has shown great committment and dedication to "School of Rock & Reels" as he spends many hours as a lorry driver. Alicia's dad, Damian is a Rock man at heart even though he is living in Killeeshil. Alicia completed teaching practice in our school and was very keen to participate to show her strong connections to the Rock community.
Miss Danielle Crilly & Mr Marty Murray
Marty is a native of Cookstown and a very well thought after member of Cookstown, Fr. Rocks. Marty also completed 2 teaching practices' in our school and now teaches in Belfast. Danielle's family are very supportive of Rock St. Patricks and Rock Ladies. Danielle is proprietor of PHD, Cookstown and has a difficult task on board keeping Marty up to speed.
Miss Clare Mullan & Mr Don McGurk
Clare is a past pupil of our school and works in Tasty Bites, the family business. Clare's dad Anthony is a committed Committee Member. Don is a Kildress man with strong Rock connections. He has a great sense of humour and keeps the whole group well entertained. Clare is trying hard to perfect Don's jiving skills.
Miss Sarah Louise Cunningham & Mr John Girvan
Sarah Louise is a Pomeroy girl and is studying Drama. She is an experienced Irish Dancer. John is a past pupil and parent of kids at our school. John is not new to the game of Irish Dancing but in recent years has concentrated on his football career for Rock St. Patricks. John's son is now a member of Rock St. Patrick's youth.
Miss Laura McCreesh & Mr Martin Hackett
Laura is a past pupil of our school. She also completed teaching practice in the school and her family are keen sports people. Laura herself is a keen footballer and now dedicated to the youth of Rock Ladies. Laura is currently teaching in Galbally. Martin is a Galbally man at heart but now a keen Rock man. Martin has his very own dance teacher, Danielle, one of the choreographers.
Miss Laura Cunningham & Mr Marty McVeigh
Marty is a past pupil of our school and is full of craic and wit and not only keeps Laura entertained but also the whole group of dancers. Laura is also a past pupil and works part-time in Haydens Bar.
Mrs Pauline O'Driscoll & Mr Brian Mitchell
Pauline is a past pupil of our school and has many Bloomer connections supporting her. Pauline is a hairdresser and is loving the craic. Brian is a Rock man at heart but now lives in Ardboe. Brian prides himself in his jiving talents and is adamant that he will show off this talent on stage.
Mrs Leona Kirwin & Mr Barry Coyle
Leona is a prospective parent and daughter of committee man Dominic. Barry is a Pomeroy man who spent his football career with Rock St. Patricks. Barry is also a parent of kids in the school and his loyalties are divided on the night of the show as his son will be in Mayo with the U14 team missing the dancing talents of his dad. This couple are flying the flag for Pomeroy!
Mrs Mary Jo McCourt & Mr Jamie Kolbohm
Jamie is a past pupil of our school and has a large Rock family circle. Mary Jo is a Killyman lady now living in Killeenan. She is a parent of kids in our school and her kids are training with the youth of Rock St. Patricks Rock Ladies. Mary Jo is being judged every step of the way by her daughter Meabh who is a keen Irish dancer.
The Irish Dancing bug has hit the school by storm.......
We even had movie stars in the P6 classroom with their teacher Mrs Daly and her dance partner Aidan McGarrity!!!!!
