Firemen Visit

P5/6 had a visit from the firemen on Thursday morning.  They were learning about safety within the home and what safety checks should be carried out in order to prevent a fire in the home. The pupils were made aware of the important number to ring and the details they should give such as their address and postcode if there was a fire in their home. They also were made aware of the importance of checking their fire alarms regularly and that every family should have a fire escape plan. To end the session Shea had the opportunity of trying on the fireman’s suit.  Thank you to both firemen from P5/6.
