Clay Flowers in R/P1

🌸🌺🌻🌼Reception and Primary One explored the parts of a flower through clay modelling.
The children modelled the clay into the shape of a flowering plant, discussing the different parts their plant would need such as the petals, stem and leaves.
They watched and waited as the drying process took place. When the flowers were dry, the children painted them using acrylic paint.
Didn’t they do an amazing job.. little potters in the making 🌸🌺🌻🌼☺️
